Caturday — Relaxing as Only a Cat Can

My ginger boy Wallace shows us how it’s done.

Wallace knows how to spend a Saturday morning. We should all learn to be this relaxed. We’d be less stressed and healthier.

This seems to be a theme at my house. Of course, cats are a theme here and cats know how to relax when they know they’re in a safe place.

I like to think I’m good at providing an environment where cats feel safe. It’s kind of my thing. Since so many of mine came from bad backgrounds where the last thing they felt was safe, this is the very least I can do for them.

But this is a challenging thing to do with a baker’s dozen of cats in a 1000-square-foot house. But I’m creative and have studied cat behavior for many years in this cat lab I have going on here. I’ve also read blogs and books from people like Cat Daddy, Jackson Galaxy. Jackson Galaxy also has a YouTube channel with a lot of helpful advice. He’s the one with the show called My Cat From Hell so he knows his stuff.
